Japanese
writing is quite complicated and involves three separate sets
of characters – thousands of the Chinese characters
called Kanji and two sets of syllable characters
called Hiragana and Katanka (each containing
46 characters). Japanese can also be written with Western
characters and when it is done this way, it is called Romaji
