an in-depth text, but the soft-coloured diagrams and text

Memoirs
of a Geisha: A Novel
For
the adult or older teenager, this fictional novel portraying
the life of a geisha will present a detailed examination of
Japanese life in the middle of the 20th century. The author
spent more than 10 years researching geisha culture, immersing
himself in the traditional arts of the geisha, interviewing
a highly successful geisha and earning degrees in Japanese
history and art.
